Revealed: Times and dates announced for opening four rounds of the Champions Cup

The times and dates have been revealed for the first four rounds of next season's Champions Cup, with some mouthwatering ties on the horizon.

Ulster will get the tournament underway on Friday October 13 when they host Wasps at Kingspan Ravenhill at 19.45, with Leinster in action the following day at the RDS against Montpellier at 13.00.

Munster have to wait until Sunday October 15 to get their campaign underway, travelling to the Stade Pierre Antoine to face Castres, also at 13.00.

The following week, Leinster will play Glasgow at Scotstoun on Saturday October 21 at 13.00, with Munster welcoming Ronan O'Gara's Racing 92 back to Thomond Park later that day at 17.30. Ulster travel to France the following day to play La Rochelle at 15.00.

The back-to-back fixtures in rounds three and four have also been confirmed, with Leinster visiting the Exeter Chiefs on Sunday December 10 at 17.30, with the return fixture taking place on December 16 at 15.15 at the Aviva Stadium.

Munster will host Leicester at Thomond Park on Saturday December 9 at 19.45, before playing the English giants at Welford Road on Sunday December 17 at 17.30, while Ulster are scheduled to play Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop on Sunday December 10 at 13.00, before welcoming the London side to Kingspan Ravenhill on Friday December 15 at 19.45.
