Having made their long awaited Heineken Cup debut last night, Connacht are calling on all rugby fans and businesses to help support their team and turn the province 'green' in the lead up to the first home game against Toulouse at the Sportsground on Friday.

The Green Mile is the route in Galway that runs from Blackrock in Salthill through to the Spanish Arch, Quay Street, Eyre Square, Forster Street, College Road to the Sportsground and down to Huntsman Inn and the aim is to make this area 'scream green' for Connacht.

The route gives supporters ownership of Connacht way beyond the gates of the Sportsground.

The best 100 pictures of a green display sent to will be selected for posters to be erected along the Green Mile for the historic visit of French aristocrats Toulouse.

Connacht wants to see 'Green Miles' created in towns and villages all over the province.
