Bradley in Georgia talks
FORMER Connacht coach Michael Bradley has been linked with a short-term position working for the Georgian national team.
Bradley coached Connacht for seven years before handing over to Eric Elwood at the end of last season and has been assisting former international team-mate Terry Kingston with All-Ireland League Division 2 side Midleton.
Georgia nearly caused the shock of the 2007 World Cup when only a late try from Denis Leamy prevented Eddie O'Sullivan's Ireland from losing their pool game.
In next year's tournament, the Georgians are in Pool B, where they will face England, Argentina and Scotland.
- South Africa captain John Smit will miss the November tour to Ireland and Britain after undergoing surgery to repair a cervical disc. He will be sidelined for three months, ruling him out of the November 6 clash with Ireland.
