Mick Galwey on . . .
Performance v Boks
I wouldn't have called it a travesty if we had got the draw. We'd have deserved it because we played all the rugby in the last 20 minutes. Okay we didn't get a win but we got a performance (in the closing stages) and you can build on that.
O'Gara v Sexton
The O'Gara-Sexton thing will always come up. They have both played exceptionally well this year and there hasn't been a whole lot in it. It was advantage Jonny Sexton going into the game and it's probably advantage Ronan O'Gara coming out of the game. I'd imagine Ronan will start against Samoa, particularly when he didn't start last weekend and then there will be a big decision for who will be picked for the New Zealand match.
Ireland's strongest XV
It's up for grabs. I think the players know that and the management know that. The players selected on Saturday will see an opportunity to get a place for the New Zealand game. Particularly when you lose, places are up for grabs and that's the way the squad will look at it and Declan Kidney will look at it.
Paul O'Connell would be missed off any team in the world . . . I met him at the match on Saturday and he's hoping to be back before Christmas -- who knows he might be available for the Heineken Cup before Christmas.
It's a sign of the times. No matter what price they put on tickets, coming to Dublin is not as easy for people any more. The IRFU have put their hand up and you have to admire them for that. Two years ago, tickets for that match couldn't be bought. Go back to the England match at Croke Park and someone was offering €5,000 for a pair of tickets, which was ridiculous. It was always going to be hard for the IRFU, but at least they put their hand up.
