Tipperary corner-back Paddy Stapleton will miss this Sunday's Allianz Division One hurling final against Kilkenny after breaking a bone in his hand.

The Tipp regular suffered the injury while on duty with his club, Borris-Ileigh, in a North Tipperary championship game against Templederry Kenyons last Sunday.

The 27-year-old will be out of action for four weeks as a result, but should be back in the frame for Tipperary’s Munster GAA Hurling Championship semi-final against Limerick on June 9.
