Triple effort from running dad Vinny

YOUNGEST competitor of the day was 15-month-old Noah Beirne from Dun Laoghaire.

Okay, she was too tiny to actually run it but her dad Vinny completed the 10km while pushing Noah and her older sister Juno (3) in a double-buggy in front of him.

"I started pushing Juno when she was six months old and it's just become part of my running routine," he explained.

"She was actually complaining today that I wasn't going fast enough!"

He was delighted the trio completed the race in just over 59 minutes. "We had to stop a few times for drinks and food breaks... or 'bribes' as I call them."
