Tracey on double again at Mondello
For the second time in a fortnight, George Tracey scored a double of the Supercar 'A' final and Super final at a Mondello Park Rallycross, but this time, he didn't start the main race from pole position. Ian O'Connell's Lotus Exige, the winner of the Modified 'A' final, had a faster time than Tracey's Citroen Xsara Supercar and claimed the coveted spot.
Eddie Peterson won the Stock Hatch 16 valve final from Graeme Colfer, with Noel O'Brien just beating Keith Kerrshaawe in the eight-valve race. Fifteen-year-old Sophie Byrne beat her male opposition to win the Junior final, taking the lead on the fourth lap of five to win by a second.
