RED-HOT pair Zest For Life and Butlers Storm look the pick of the bunch in the two banks races at Athlacca this afternoon.
Enda Bolger's Zest For Life was second last Saturday at Punchestown and can take the geldings' race, while Butlers Storm, which was third in the Ladies Cup, can take the mares' equivalent for Gillian Byrnes.
Nicholl's Justice will be a tough nut to crack in the mares' maiden and is banker material.
At Necarne today, top Open horse Top Twig goes for his sixth success of the season for David Christie, while Mayne McConville's Arc Of Stone looks best in the confined race.
At Sligo tomorrow, Leslie Young's Bay To Go can take the five-year-old maiden and Ard Na Raithnigh might be the one to beat in the Open Lightweight.
At Bartlemy, the clash between veteran Whyso Mayo, which ran a cracker at Punchestown, and Tyrone Golden Rain, which won last week at Ballindenisk, is the race of the weekend.
Jam Or Marmalade can take the opening confined race, having run well at Ballindenisk last Sunday.
Number of the Week
24 Last weekend, Derek O'Connor and Jamie Codd won 11 of the 19 races run. So far this season, there have been 755 races run and they have won 185 between them. This equates to 24pc of all races run this season. Point-to-pointing has never seen dominance like this before and may never again.
Horse to Follow
Kilcrea won well last Sunday for Jimmy Mangan at Balindenisk and is sure to go on and win more races.
Nicholl's Justice returns following a long absence, but her last two runs -- behind Askanna and Shop DJ in points -- prove that, at her best, she could be top-class. She will take some beating at Athlacca.
