Tyler Clary Beats favourite Ryan Lochte into third in Men’s 200M backstoke

TYLER Clary beat fellow American swimmer and hot favourite Ryan Lochte into the bronze medal position in the Men's 200M Backstroke final tonight.

Clary finished first in a new Olympic record time of 1:53.41.

Japanese swimmer Ryosuke Irie surprised the two Americans by sneaking into second place with a time of 1:53.78.

Lochte’s time of 1:53.94 was only enough to earn him the bronze medal.
