On Tuesday middleweight Luke Keeler (3-0, |2 KOs) learned that his Northern Ireland opponent Paul Moffett (3-1-1, 2KOs) had to withdraw from tonight’s show.
It was a perfectly poised bout and the rated Dublin prospect, who’ll have a few hundred fans present, was disappointed.
On Wednesday it was announced he’d be facing the more experienced Latvian supermiddleweight Ruslans Pojonisevs (15-30-1, 15KOs).
“I was expecting a hard fight and nothing’s changed,” says Keeler.
“This guy can swing big shots but hopefully we’ll get the rounds in. I’ve seen him fight and feel I can stop him. If the chance comes I’ll take it.”
