Irish WWE star Sheamus has announced that he and the rest of the WWE crew will return to Dublin's 3Arena on April 21, 2016.

Speaking on The Nicky Byrne Show on 2FM, Sheamus, who's real name is Stephen Farrelly, said tickets for the WWE Live event will go on sale in two weeks time on November 19.

Meanwhile Sheamus will be in the ring tonight in the 3Arena as part of the WWE Live experience.

He told radio show host Nicky Byrne that the hardest thing about his job is the non-stop travel.

"I visit 20 cities a month.

"Some places like Saudi are very interesting because the culture is so different.

"I always say I find travel is harder to recover from than any injuries picked up during a fight," he said.

He described fighting with the WWE as "the very best job in the world".

Sheamus is a three-time world champion in the WWE, having won the WWE Championship twice (December 2009 and June 2010) and the World Heavyweight Championship once (April 2012).

The WWE’s official website lists Sheamus as weighing 267 pounds.

He said that he prefers live events to TV fights as the matches last longer and operate at a quicker pace.

Sheamus said that everyone involved in WWE agrees there's a unique atmosphere at the Dublin live event.

"The Irish fans are the best, mainly because they're there to have fun.

"There's an energy in the 3Arena that's like no other," he said.
