Here is Ireland's sporting rich list - and Rory McIlroy is not on top
Although Rory McIlroy is conservatively expected to earn a massive €500m over the next 20 years, he was still beaten to second place in the 2014 Irish Sporting Rich List by three-time Major winner Padraig Harrington.
McIlroy saw a big chunk of his finances disappear in the High Court this week when a settlement was reached in his legal battle with Horizon Sports.
The Irishman was still lapping it up after that court battler as he posted a picture from the inside of his private jet as he flew back to the US.
Harrington leads the way with a whopping €43m while fellow golfers Darren Clarke (€20m) and Graeme McDowell (€18m) also boast enviable fortunes.
Irish soccer heroes Robbie Keane and Damien Duff also make the list with €22m to their names.
