Greyhounds: The College Causeway/ Killahan Phanter Easter Cup final

It's a historic night for the sport, with two major finals in Dublin and Glasgow being transmitted live on Sky Sports.

The College Causeway/ Killahan Phanter Easter Cup final will be shown live from Shelbourne at 9.45 and then it will be back to Shawfield for the Bettor.com Scottish Derby decider at 10.15.

Three of the five finalists at Shawfield are Irish-trained, with Owen McKenna in charge of Farloe Force and Pablo Supreme, while Pat Buckley is represented by Beaming Dilemma.

Preference is for Farloe Force, which appeals at advertised odds up to 4/1. He looks to have the perfect draw in four.

It is not certain what will go off favourite an open looking Easter Cup final, where there is the additional boost of a Pick 6 guaranteed pool of €30,000 and a Pick 4 pool of €2,500.

Broadstrand Lad has been the choice of the firms with offers as low as 15/8 about the excellent tracker, which may be drawn a bit far out in five. Track layers may take a different view, with Slippery Bob and Makeshift disputing favouritism.

Dolores Ruth's Makeshift has an ideal draw in two, has been there before and done the business. So too has Larry Dunne's Slippery Bob, winner of the Tote Gold Cup over course and distance last month.

The second Ruth runner Razldazl George must also enter the equation and is the strongest finisher.

It could boil down to the break and here Makeshift is the most consistent. But Slippery Bob loves the inside and if he can overcome the trap one factor, he will be halfway to victory.

Razldazl Jayfkay cont-inues his preparation for Wimbledon with an outing in the concluding Open 550 and he should be a winner, while Mutual Decision looks good in a 525 contest.
