In the other heats, the Pat Buckley-trained Paradise Martini led all the way en route to a length and a half margin over Highview Beauty in 28.61, while Gerry Whyte's Fridays Carroll led all the way to win Heat 2 by five and a half lengths from Eabhas Fantasy in 28.66.
