The final of the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Puppy Stake will be run in front of a huge crowd at Limerick tonight and the quality of the final line-up has lived up to the massive rewards on offer, courtesy of sponsors JP and Noreen McManus.

The market leaders are Roxholme Bully and Kisses For Cloda, but there is no way you can ignore the claims of Oran Maestro and the big-finishing trio of Melodys Gamble, Droopys Banner and Royal Diva.

The evidence of the heats points to a terrific battle to the bend between Owen McKenna's Roxholme Bully and Dan and Clodagh Butler's Kisses For Cloda. Both have been flying up and, when they get ahead, they don't get beaten, which makes the early lead vital in pursuit of the €80,000 prize.

The Davy Reynolds-trained Oran Maestro was the original personal fancy, but he hasn't taken to the circuit, while Melodys Gamble is best drawn of the stayers to get in a blow. Droopys Banner and Royal Diva are a long way out and will need a lucky break.

Just two spots separate Roxholme Bully and Kisses For Cloda on the clock and the inside box may swing it for the McKenna hope, with Kisses For Cloda and Melodys Gamble to fill the frame.

There's a good card on offer, with the Open 750 a real classic and there could be quite a battle between Razldazl Marilyn and White Soks Roks. Olympic Queen (8.25), Leamaneigh Turbo (8.40) and Razldazl Will (10.32) are likely winners

The second round of the Easter Cup will be run at Shelbourne tonight. Unfortunately Paradise Casino has been ruled out of Heat 2 due to injury. In his absence Ashfield Impact and Cabra Buck can dominate the race.

Ballymac Vic and Tyrur Sugar Ray should make amends for their defeats in the first round.

Ballymac faces a real test against Kereight King and Money Talks in heat two, but has the draw in his favour.

Tyrur Sugar Ray should win a hot opener from North Bound and Droopys Adler, while Hot Pursuit is difficult to oppose in the last heat.

Bonus bets

Tote punters will have a €5,000 Trio Pool to chase in the final of the Kirby Memorial, while there will be Trio Free Bets on offer in the first three races.
