Between the football and the hurling, Dublin fans have an exciting summer ahead and a Leinster Championship double across both codes now trades at 4/1. The footballers take on Kildare tomorrow in the Leinster semi-final and while the Lilywhites are one of the more consistent teams in the province, their backs will find it hard to repel the Dublin goal machine -- a force which can turn a game on its head in an instant. Take the boys in blue at 8/15.

Some classy sorts have won the Group One Stobart Ireland Pretty Polly Stakes (3.45 Curragh) down through the years and Midday can follow in their footsteps in this year's renewal, priced around 4/5. With five Group One wins under the belt, she has the class to take this quite comfortably and her recently knighted trainer, Henry Cecil, reckons the five-year-old is "better than ever" ahead of today's one-mile-two-furlong contest.

•Last week's double was successful on both legs at an overall price of 9/5.
