Although better known for a sailing career that saw her become European champion in 2013 and take home a silver medal from the Rio Olympics in 2016, Annalise Murphy has recently started turning heads on a bike.

While she has used cycling as part of her training for sailing over the years, Murphy only began racing after a disappointing outing at the Tokyo Olympics saw her take a break from competition on the water last summer yet she finished fourth in the elite women’s national time-trial championship in Nenagh last month.
