Cyclist Nicolas Roche hospitalised following second spider bite in two months
Team Sky rider Nicolas Roche has lamented his poor luck after the 31-year-old was hospitalised after suffering his second spider bite in quick succession.
Roche posted a picture on social media of the gruesome looking bite after he was the victim of another bite and is undergoing treatment after the unfortunate incident.
At the end of November the Irish Independent columnist was bitten following a training run on the Gold Coast in Australia, blaming the 'crazy Ozzie wildlife' for the four days he was forced off his bike.
Roche was hospitalised after the first bite also and lamented his poor luck in a humorous fashion.
