The draw for the eagerly-awaited National Coursing Meeting at Clonmel was made yesterday evening and some very interesting buckles have been drawn in the opening rounds which will commence at Powerstown Round on Saturday at 11am.

David O'Sullivan's Crushers Oak is currently the 8/1 ante-post favourite with the sponsors Boylesports for the Derby and in the first round he has been drawn to run in the third quarter where he will meet Dan Brassil's Feel My Pulse which is just a 20/1 chance in the betting.

The second favourites at 10/1 are the Pat Bowles-owned duo of Timber House and Portane All In.

Timber House is drawn to meet Call Here Alonso in the final quarter while Portane All In is scheduled to come up against Rathfort James in the second quarter.

Current ante-post favourite to capture the Greyhound & Pet World Oaks is the Mark Doolan-owned Breska Lantern at 8/1 and she comes up against Barrow Cockle in the last course of the first quarter.

First buckle of the meeting will be between Kingtone Jessie and Battstreet Judy at 11am on Saturday and a large crowd is expected to attend over the three days of action which concludes next Monday.
