Conor McGregor comes out fighting for his return to MMA
'I'm looking to take his head clean off'
‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor returned from Iceland recently to finish off preparation for his Ultimate Fighting Championship fight on July 19th in Dublin's O2 Arena.
Some journalists were gathered to help launch EA Sports new UFC videogame in Conor's Straight Blast Gym but also to learn some of the techniques he uses in Mixed Martial Arts competition.
Thankfully, Conor wasn't let loose to practise on those assembled but some of his SBG teammates were on hand to help the MMA newbies get to grips with finishing moves that could net you a €50,000 UFC performance bonus if you can land them just right.
While we didn't impress enough to get a UFC contract, we did manage to get 10 minutes with Conor to discuss his return from injury and what he expects will go down on July 19th.
Conor ‘The Notorious’ McGregor makes his videogame debut in EA SPORTS UFC, out now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
