Company defends employee charged with alleged betting scam at Australian Open
Daniel Dobson, a 22-year-old Briton arrested during an Australian Open 2014 tennis match at Melbourne Park on Tuesday, leaves Melbourne Magistrates' Court
The company that employs a British man accused of a betting offence at the Australian Open by using an electronic device stitched into his shorts has insisted the charge is "grossly unfair".
Victoria Police confirmed Daniel Dobson, 22, from New Malden in London, has appeared in court in Melbourne and been bailed on a charge of engaging in conduct that would corrupt a betting outcome.
