Petr Cech

Signed from Rennes in June 2004 for £7m, h went 1,025 mins without conceding a Premier League goal in his debut season, and managed 25 clean sheets. In 2005-06, missed only two league games as Chelsea retained the title, conceding just 15 goals, a record low. Missed three months of 2006-07 season after fracturing his skull against Reading. Upon his return to action, he won Player of the Month award for the first time, after eight successive league clean sheets. Kept his 100th Chelsea clean sheet in 1-0 win over Bolton last season, winning Golden Glove award as Chelsea won their first double.

Henrique Hilario

Signed in June 2006 as back-up to Cech and Carlo Cudicini. Given run of 18 consecutive games in debut season, following the injury of both Cech and Cudicini in the game against Reading in October 2006, losing just one match. Has since made only 18 other appearances in three seasons.

Ross Turnbull

Signed on a free transfer from Middlesbrough in July 2009, announcing his intention to challenge Petr Cech for the No 1 jersey. Has since made only four starts, at times when both Cech and Hilario were unavailable.
