Ante-post favourite Roxholme Bully can leave last weekend's flat first-round performance well behind him when he contests Heat 7 in the second round at Limerick tonight.

There is a cracking card on offer and each of the eight heats looks intriguing.

One of the best could be this contest, in which Roxholme Bully (10.0) is ideally housed in the inside box. Trainer Owen McKenna reckons the dog badly needed the run last week after two and a half months out of action and the draw adds to his confidence.

But no minor errors will be allowed in a race where Derby finalist Cabra Buck is drawn in four, while first-round winners Gavins Legacy and Farloe Trent are in three and six respectively.

The new second favourite in the firms' lists is Frances O'Donnell's Skywalker Farloe (9.30), and he is fancied to win Heat 6. He has the perfect outside draw and should have the staying power to pick up early leaders Kisses For Cloda and Jacksallstar.

Worst drawn dog of the night is PJ Fahy's Tyrur Sugar Ray as he again wears the orange jacket in Heat 2. His priority will simply be to qualify and hopefully get an inside draw in the quarter-final.

For the winner we look to Neilus O'Connell's flying first-round winner Riptide Movement (8.45).

The selections for the other heats are Hot Pursuit (8.30), Priceless Bolt (9.0), Rockview Turbo (9.15), Melodys Diamond (9.30) and Ringtown Snowy (10.15).

The Gain Feeds Select Stakes starts at Waterford, and Peter Cronin's All About Ya (9.22) is drawn to beat Burgess Rumble in Heat 1, while Jaxx On Fantasy (9.37) and Farloe Calvin (9.52) could take the other heats.

The final of the Zero Ten @ Stud Puppy Stake is the top race at Shelbourne and features some really bright youngsters.

Darragh Morrissey's Champagne Jackie (10.15) has emerged as a star in the making in recent weeks and she can lead home Redwood Mick and Panther Paw.

Disappointing recently, Niall Dunne's North Bound (10.30) should much prefer the 575-yard trip in the concluding contest and he can get the better of the ultra-consistent Abbeyville Tipp.

Also tonight the semi-finals of the Caledonia Smooth Gold Cup are down for decision at Drumbo Park and Atitboy (9.37) and Aero Nemesis should prevail (9.52).
