Katie Taylor will continue her march towards a possible world title fights as she steps back into the ring to face former world champion Milena Koleva on the undercard of Anthony Crolla’s clash with Jorge Linares on Saturday night.
Taylor was set to meet Koleva on the undercard of Tony Bellew’s showdown against David Haye earlier this month, but the Bulgarian was forced out and replaced by Italian Monica Gentili and now the eagerly anticipated clash is finally happening.

Taylor’s clash with Koleva is expected to get underway at around 9pm, with full coverage live from the arena here on Independent.ie.
TV coverage starts at 7pm on Sky Sports 1.
The fight will consist of six two minute rounds.

Koleva boasts a record of 9-7-1 and has three knock-outs on her record, but she is not considered to be a big puncher.
Katie Taylor is stepping up in class for this fight as she takes on an opponent with world title credentials.
However, the 28-year-old is looking to bounce back from a bruising defeat, as she was was knocked out by French fighter Maiva Hamadouche in January.
Katie Taylor - “If I’m going to be targeting world title fights then I need to be progressing in every fight so I’m really excited about this weekend," said Taylor.
“I definitely think it will be a step up with the fight being scheduled for eight rounds and also the quality of the opponent.
“Koleva’s a good challenge for me at this point. I’ve watched some of her fights and she has been around the block, been in with some of the best girls in the world and always pushed them very hard so I’m expecting a tough fight.”
