Watch: World title fight ends in chaos after champion's uncle punches opponent following disqualification Newsdesk Newsdesk

We have finally found an ending to a boxing match that rivals Mike Tyson tearing through Evander Holyfield's ear with his incisors.

Last night American boxer Andre Dirrell retained his IBF interim super middleweight after opponent Jose Uzcategui was disqualified for landing a number of punches after the bell had sounded.

That was only the beginning of the madness.

After the referee made his decision, Dirrell's uncle and assistant trainer Leon Lawson Jr entered the ring and unleashed a ferocious combination on Uzcategui that has to be seen to be believed.

According to Showtime, the TV station that broadcast the fight, local police now want to speak to Lawson over the incident.

“I’m sorry for what my coach has done,” Dirrell told the media after the fight. “My coach is my family, my uncle, and he was worried. He cares for me. He loves me. Please forgive him.”
