WATCH: Katie Taylor's latest opponent visits her dressing room after she is beaten by Ireland's golden girl
Katie Taylor has paid tribute to her latest opponent Kimberley Connor, after the American paid a visit to her dressing room following their fight at London's 02 Arena.
Connor was stopped in the third round as Taylor successfully defended her two world lightweight title belts, with the respect shown between the combatants evident as they met backstage after the fight.
Taylor's manager Brian Peters posted the video showing the classy exchange between Taylor and Connor, who admitted she had 'killed herself' getting ready for the fight that ended with a flurry of punches from the Bray warrior in front of a huge sell-out crowd.
"She came into the dressing room and said some very nice things," Taylor said. "It was nice to see. She looked a bit nervous in the build-up to the fight, but it was great to see her afterwards."
Taylor is due to enter the ring next in Chicago in October, with money spinning fights being lined up by promoter Eddie Hearn that could propel her to superstar status in America.
