Katie Taylor will fight for her first pro title in a world title eliminator on the Anthony Joshua versus Wladimir Klitschko blockbuster at London's Wembley Arena on April 29.

The 2012 London Olympic champion meets unbeaten German fighter Nina Meinke for the WBA Inter-Continental belt over ten rounds.

Meinke has won all five of her fights since making her debut last May. However, the current WBC Youth champion has never fought professionally outside of Germany.

The Bray star is one of four ex-Olympic champions on the Wembley card, along with Joshua, Klitschko and Luke Campbell, who beat Ireland's John Joe Nevin in the London 2012 final.

Taylor's promoter Eddie Hearn reckons Meinke is a step up: "No disrespect to her previous opponents but Meinke is on another level and has operated and been victorious on the big stage."
