Donegal's Jason Quigley to make eagerly-anticipated return to the ring next month
Unbeaten Donegal middleweight Jason Quigley is making his long awaited return to the ring next month.
The former World amateur silver medallist, who has been out of action since injuring his hand in his last fight in March 2017, will return to action on Easter Saturday night, March 31, in Quincy, Massachusetts.
"This is a big year for me," said Quigley, who boasts a 13-0 record in the pro ranks. "I'm in all the world rankings. I mean business and I’m ready to make serious waves."
Quigley relocated from Los Angeles to Sheffield in the UK before Christmas where is now training under Dominic Ingle. But he is still promoted by the US based Golden Boy organisation.
He damaged his right hand in his last fight in March when defeating Glen Tapia at Fantasy Springs –he fought eight rounds one handed - to land his first professional title, the NABF middleweight belt.
Quigley’s opponent for his comeback fight has yet to be named.
