Conor McGregor was always going to enjoy his appearance in front of a huge worldwide audience watching his first appearance on stage with Floyd Mayweather ahead of their showdown in August 26th - and he used the moment to reveal he is is getting into the suit business.

Dubliner McGregor was in typically brash form as he predicted he would shock the sporting world and knock Mayweather out inside four rounds as he makes a highly ambitious boxing debut, with even the suit he wore to the Las Vegas press conference taunting his unbeaten rival.

McGregor was quick to suggest a tracksuited Mayweather could not afford to buy a suit after his recent problems with the US tax authorities, before he suggested he was ready to launch his own brand of designer clothes befitting his image.

The pinstripes on the suit worn by UFC champion McGregor spelled out ‘F*** You’, with the Irishman delighting in his clear victory in the sartorial stakes over Mayweather.

"He's in a f***ing tracksuit, he can't afford a suit any more," declared a smiling McGregor, before he turned to his own attire.

"How does this suit look...its a cracker" he pronounced to an adoring crowd inside the Staples Center in LA.

"I have my own line of suits coming out. If you zoom in on the pin-stripe it says f*** you!"

For a man who has always been so proud of his appearance, a clothing range would seem to be the natural next step for one of the most famous faces in world sport.

Now it seems we don't have long to wait for the McGregor range of suits to hit the shops.
