Rubin Kazan (-2) to beat Shamrock Rvs 9/2

Shamrock Rovers put in a superb performance to overcome Partizan Belgrade in the qualifying round, but against a team that has won the Russian championship two out of the last three years and appeared in the Champions League in the same time-frame, the Europa League opener was always going to be difficult.

Stephen O'Donnell's missed penalty would have brought relief to anybody who took this bet, but Rubin created so many chances that, had the penalty been scored, it's possible they could have re-established their three-goal lead in the later stages.
