VIDEO: Thousands fill the streets of Dublin for the VHI Women's Mini Marathon Newsdesk Newsdesk

The VHI Women's Mini Marathon took place in Dublin this afternoon.

The marathon, which started at 2pm in the city centre, is the largest female-only event of its kind in the world. Siobhan O'Doherty from Tipperary won this year's edition, crossing the line with a time of 34 minutes and 30 seconds.

Natasha Adams from Donegal was second, in a time of 34 minutes and 33 seconds, while Sarah Mulligan was third, in a time of 35 minutes and 28 seconds.
