Athletics: Tragic death of Olympic hopeful
Norwegian swimmer Alexander Dale Oen -- a medal favourite for the London Olympics -- has died of a suspected cardiac arrest while attending a high-altitude training camp in the United States.
Dale Oen, the Beijing Olympic silver medallist in the 100m breaststroke, was one of Norway's most prominent athletes and had dedicated his World Championship win last year to the 77 victims of the Anders Breivik massacre, which had occurred days earlier.
The 26-year-old was found collapsed in a shower after earlier undergoing a light training session and a round of golf in Flagstaff, Arizona.
