O'Carroll inspires Kildare to All-Ireland junior camogie title

Two goals in the space of one second half minute from Kildare's Susie O'Carroll helped Kildare secure their first All-Ireland Junior Camogie title in 23 years beating Laois by 2-11 to 1-5.

The Lilywhite ladies were quickly into their stride in the blustery conditions and fired over five unanswered points.

Louise Mahony and Niamh Dollard pulled back points for Laois before O'Carroll respnded and Kildare led by 0-6 to 0-2 at the interval.

Grace O'Neill got Laois off to a great start to the second half with a goal but O'Carroll seized control for Kildare with her brace and Kildare never looked like losing afterwards with Siobhan Hurley chipping in with points.
