WATCH: 'Up the Dubs' - Conor McGregor and the Cork footballers have a little sing-off in the airport

Harry Clarke

Conor McGregor is a proud Irishman - and a proud Dublin man. And the Notorious let that be known when he bumped into the Cork footballers in a Portuguese airport today.

McGregor and the Cork senior footballers were at respective training camps in Portugal as they prepare for forthcoming battles. McGregor faces Nate Diaz in July as he bids to bounce back from defeat to the American earlier this year while Cork will face the winners of Tipperary and Waterford in the Championship.

Despite McGregor and the Cork lads experiencing disappointment this year - the Rebels were relegated to Division 2 - they were all in high spirits with McGregor chanting 'Up The Dubs' which was met with 'Up The Rebels' from the Munster men.
