Watch - Official trailer for Conor McGregor film 'Notorious' released

The full official trailer for the Conor McGregor film 'Notorious' has been released.

The eagerly anticipated documentary, backed by Universal, is set to tell the story of the Dubliner's journey from his days living with his parents right up to the mega-money boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather this year.

According to the official Facebook page for the film, it was shot over the course of four years.

However the trailer reveals that the doc will also feature footage from McGregor's earliest days in the octagon, as well as lots of backstage action from his UFC career.

The film is due for release in Ireland and the UK on November 1, with the USA and Canada set to follow suit a week later.

The film will hit screens in Australia and New Zealand on November 9 while it is slated for release in the rest of the world next year.

Directed by Gavin Fitzgerald, who was involved in the 2015 RTÉ2 series about the MMA superstar, McGregor himself is credited as an executive producer.
