Conor McGregor is the king of the sound bite and he was in top form this evening in Las Vegas in a promotional press conference ahead of UFC 197 on March 5.

McGregor will face Rafael Dos Anjos at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the chance to strip the Brazilian of his lightweight crown and become the first dual-weight champion in UFC history.

Speaking about the bout, Dos Anjos said: "I'm just a single tool in Jesus' hands and on March 5, he will see and he will feel what a single tool in Jesus' hands can do with him."

This was the response from the Dubliner: "Me and Jesus are cool. I'm cool with all the gods. Gods recognise gods."

The 27-year-old was sporting a very colourful shirt and compared his attire to that worn by notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.

"I'm speaking Spanish, I'm dressed like El Chappo in his prime, I'm rumning this company like half a wiseguy, I'm up here verbally destroying this man, I'm a multicultural individual and I'm up here doing whatever I want."
