The UFC Dublin weigh-in took place in the 3Arena this afternoon. As you'd expect with half starved athletes, it was a pretty tense affair.

All fighters made their contracted weights though some needed to drop their smalls in order to meet their mark and use a towel to protect their modesty.

Naturally the loudest cheers were for the Irish fighters - Aisling Daly, Cathal Pendred, Neil Seery, Norman Parke and Paddy Holohan.

Aisling Daly was particularly amped. She told us yesterday when she turned pro there was no UFC women's division. A UFC career was just a pipe dream. The dream is set to come true tomorrow night.

The highlight, as we predicted, was the encounter between Norman Parke and Reza Madadi. Madadi had spent time behind bars for burglary and Parke had poked fun at this fact over Twitter.

After both fighters successfully made weight Parke turned back to his coach Rodney Parke and pulled something from his back pack... Chaos ensued.

You can see what happened and a full summary of the weigh-in in the video above.

UFC Dublin takes place in the 3Arena tomorrow with the first fight due to start at 1745. The main card begins at 2100 and will be broadcast on Setanta Ireland, 3e and UFC's digital platform Fight Pass.
