VIDEO: Conor McGregor shows off his acting ability in horse racing comedy ad Newsdesk Newsdesk

He won't be in the Octagon for most of 2017 but it looks like Conor McGregor is going to keep his fans entertained regardless, with the UFC champion starring in a joke ad for an American horse race.

In an advert for the Pegasus World Cup, McGregor announces his bid to become a world-class jockey as he holds a press conference alongside his new trainer,  played by comedian Jon Lovitz.

It will be interesting to see if this is the first of many acting jobs McGregor takes during his sabbatical in 2017.
