US MMA star Ronda Rousey missing McGregor v Mayweather to tie the knot
Former bantamweight champ to wed fiancé Travis Browne in Hawaii.
Ronda Rousey will not be in attendance at the big fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor because she will reportedly be getting married.
Dana White, President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) organisation, revealed he was invited to attend the nuptials on Saturday but he had to decline because he will be ringside with UFC fighter McGregor in Las Vegas.
Former UFC champion-turned-actress Rousey became engaged to fellow fighter Travis Browne in April. The pair has been dating since 2015.
"We were in New Zealand and it was actually after heavy rain and we were under this waterfall and apparently he had this whole speech prepared, but it (water) just went down into bullet points in the moment," the Furious 7 star told U.S. morning show Live! with Kelly and Ryan in July.
"So he pulls out the ring... So he's like, 'OK, we're in New Zealand. We're under a waterfall. Will you marry me?' That was it, but he was crying, I'm crying."
And she revealed the couple was planning to marry in Travis' home state of Hawaii.
"We're going to do, like, a backyard Mexican, Corona party, but in Hawaii," she added.
It will be the first marriage for Ronda and the second for Browne - he wed fitness model Jenna Webb in January, 2015, but the marriage didn't last long and the couple separated five months later in June, 2015 - shortly before Browne and Rousey became an item.
Webb later accused Browne of domestic violence - allegations he denied.
