Joseph Duffy suffered his third defeat after American James Vick stopped the Irishman at UFC 217 in Madison Square Garden last night.

Duffy's TKO loss at UFC 217 will be bitterly disappointing for him, after the referee ruled that he could no longer defend himself in the third round.

Duffy is best known for defeating Conor McGregor by submission in November 2010. His record in the UFC is now 4-2, and 17-3 overall.

Elsewhere on the card, UFC legend Georges St-Pierre made a winning return to the sport as he submitted Michael Bisping in the main event in the third round.

It was St-Pierre's first fight since November 2013, with the Canadian improving his record to 26-2.
