'He's a f**king moose' - Dana White responds to Frank Fertitta-Conor McGregor conspiracy theories

Eyebrows were raised when UFC co-owner Frank Fertitta slammed the featherweight belt onto the ground after Conor McGregor beat Jose Aldo last month at UFC 194 and UFC president Dana White has looked to clarify the situation.

Fertitta, who sat directly above the ‘M’ and 'G' on the ring canvas, stoodd up as Aldo hit the deck following a counter-left punch from McGregor – the Dubliner’s first meaningful strike in the contest – and his actions prompted a number of conspiracy theories.

Some observers believed that Fertitta was hoping that the Crumlin fighter would lose the fight after he had talked about getting a 'nine-figure' contract should he win.

Dana White, in an interview with the Boston Herald, rubbished the suggestions: "Frank Fertitta is a (expletive) moose, OK? He’ll flip tables over and everything else,” White exclaimed. “It wasn’t anything negative or positive. It was just his reaction to Jose Aldo getting knocked out in one punch, you know?"

White will be hoping that his response will quell rumours of possible dissatisfaction between McGregor and the owner of Zuffa LLC (which runs the UFC itself).
