Floyd Mayweather's title fight with Manny Pacquiao on May 2 is the biggest thing to happen to the sport played under the Queensbury rules in a very long time.
Naturally, Conor McGregor was asked his opinion on the fight in a recent interview with Esquire and how he thought he would fare against Mayweather if they came face-to-face in the ring.
"I look at him as a rookie in 10 other areas. If you can box, what happens if I grab hold of your legs?," McGregor said.
"If you put me face-to-face with Floyd Mayweather—pound-for-pound boxing’s best—if I fought Floyd, I would kill him in less than 30 seconds.
"It would take me less than 30 seconds to wrap around him like a boa constrictor and strangle him."
If McGregor overcomes Jose Aldo in July and Mayweather is victorious next month, a crossover fight would be epic.
