
The judges' scorecards revealed it was a comprehensive win for Floyd Mayweather, but one stat has emerged that Conor McGregor can take great pride from.
The punching stats have been published and they show that in terms of shots landed, McGregor put in a better effort than Manny Pacquiao when he faced the unbeaten Mayweather.

The Notorious lasted all the way to the 10th round and landed 111 punches against the elusive Mayweather - a full 36 more than Pacquiao and just six fewer than Canelo Álvarez.
