Leinster star Kevin McLaughlin was in the wars last night during Leinster's 34-22 won over Cardiff and his nose was caught in the crossfire.

The back-row, who was captain for the evening,  had to be substituted at half-time by Rhys Ruddock.

Andy Eichholz suffered one of the nastiest looking broken noses you will ever see when he suffered a knockout blow from Wade Sauer in their MMA clash last month

Eichholz suffered the gruesome looking injury during the first round of his heavyweight clash with Sauer in Pendleton, Oregon.

Saracen's Ernst Joubert received a really badly deviated septum in last year's Heineken Cup quarter-final win over Ulster.
