Watch Paul O'Connell put fear of God into glass of water

Declan Whooley

Paul O'Connell may be known for his steely determination and intensity on the pitch, but at the post-match press conference he displayed those same traits at the top table.

The Irish rugby legend was speaking to the media following Ireland's pulsating 26-23 victory over the Wallabies which ensured a clean sweep in the Autumn Series and further positive preparation for the 2015 World Cup which is looming on the horizon.

O'Connell carried out his captain duties when speaking to the press along with Simon Easterby and Les Kiss when our cameras focused on O'Connell deliberating his next step after finishing his glass of water.

After fixating on the glass with a 'fear of God' steely stare, the Munster lock decided to solve the problem by taking the glass belonging to assistant coach Kiss to quench his thirst
