WATCH: Marty Morrissey calls out groom who refuses to have a stag party Sportsdesk

RTE GAA correspondent Marty Morrissey has called out Waterford native Peter Hearne for failing to have a stag party before his marriage to partner Tara in New York earlier this year.

One of Hearne's friends, James Cooper, asked for Morrissey's thoughts on the situation and the 58-year-old certainly didn't disappoint, with the Cork native questioning how Hearne's partner Tara was in a relationship with him while also doubting his knowledge of hurling.

"Well to be honest with you I'm really disappointed because I'm down here in Waterford today expecting that there was going to be a stag on," said Morrissey.

"I mean Peter Hearne is a legend in his own mind. I mean the fact he was able to pull Tara is a miracle to be perfectly honest with you. It's just ridiculous.

"Tara, between the two of us, you could have gotten any man in Ireland, nevermind Waterford, and if you're looking for a real man my number is 087... Hold on better not give it because then Peter will have it.

"Anyway the main thing is that I'm down in Wateford today looking for Peter Hearne, De La Salle man, he knows absolutely nothing about hurling and here we are waiting for a Stag and he's not here. I can't believe it."
