Watch: Footballer proposes to girlfriend after scoring wonder goal, then gets booked by referee

This is a rather unique way of celebrating a goal.

NAPA Rovers striker Ashton Surber was filmed scoring an impressive goal after an overhead kick. The player then rushed over to his girlfriend while wearing a t-shirt with 'Marry Me?' across the front.

The romantic gesture was lost on the referee though, who issued Surber with a yellow card for removing his shirt.

The day got even better for Anton, as NAPA won the game 5-1 over previously unbeaten Guam Shipyard FC.
