Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin showed his competitive spirit during the 3-0 FA Cup defeat of Hull, with Irish international Stephen Quinn at the end of a verbal tongue lashing.

Despite easing to victory in the dying moments of the contest, a re-run of last year's showpiece, the defensive midfielder was irked by the Dubliner and let his feelings be known ion the full glare of the TV cameras.

The tough tackling midfielder certainly adds bite to a team often accused of a soft underbelly.

The 23 year-oldĀ  joined Arsenal from Stade Lavallois following a successful trial with the club in July 2008 and has gone on loan to Lorient, Freiburg and Charlton since joining the Gunners.
