Paddy Power has celebrated their new iPhone app with a cheeky advert that was deemed too controversial for television audiences.
The Irish bookmakers claim that that the new app is so quick and easy to use, that a customer can place a bet in their pocket. And that is the theme for the light-hearted ad which is available on the company's YouTube channel.
The 'Pocket Jostle' celebrates that the app is not the only thing you can do in your pocket, which television chiefs felt was too x-rated for their liking.
"We acknowledge it’s a bit close to the bone, but the tongue-in-cheek metaphor of knocking a quickie out in your pocket was just too good not to share," a Paddy Power spokesperson said.
"We showed the idea to our customers and they thought it was very funny and very relevant, so we decided to share the joke”.
