Video: Emile Heskey shows the doubters that he can, indeed, hit a cow's backside with a banjo

Close

Emile Heskey has averaged a goal every four-and-a-half games during his career, earning a slightly unfair reputation as a bumbling, goal-shy water-carrier in the process.

While his recent off-target exploits have done little to help revise this widely-held perception, Heskey gamely agreed to BT Sport’s offer of the ultimate test of a striker’s ability: hitting a proverbial cow’s hitherto-proverbial backside with a hitherto-proverbial banjo.

Coming soon: David Silva literally turning on a sixpence, Kieron Dyer and Lee Bowyer having a fight with actual handbags, and Anfield’s Kop end being challenged to physically suck a ball into the goal.
